This themed park located near Mentenegro is a combination of adventure park for both kids and adults, with funfair rides, bumper-cars, go-karting, etc., and a celebration of Quindio’s major claim to fame - its coffee industry.
These days the park is primarily an adventure theme park. The park is built on the side of a hill. There is a chairlift that takes you down (or up) the hill to the food court and funfair rides.
For the non-amusement ride people all of the coffee related attractions are located near the entrance or on the hill going down to the foodcourt. There is a coffee museum (although it isn`t particularly well organised or labelled), some lovely gardens to walk through, an area exploring colombian myths and mythical creatures and of course a lot of coffee plants, coffee plantation houses and coffee realted machinery.
Most of their guests are Colombian families who by and large ignore the top part of the park and simply hop on the chairlift down to the attractions and food court.
Entrance is by ticket and it is possible to purchase a basic ticket that permits one return trip on the chairlift ride and nothing else or more complicated tickets that gives you rides on the various attractions.
